By 2022, as we celebrate the centenary of our Cadet programme, more young people than ever will be qualified and ready to be active health citizens, role models and next generation health professionals.
In 2022, that will mean:
- over 20,000 young people supported to play an active role in creating health resilience in their community, through programmes shaped by them
- a world leading vocational pathway for health cadets, with 3,000 young people supported into health professions, including those currently least likely to access a health career
- a pioneering young responder programme, proven to increase community resilience and encouraging young people from diverse backgrounds to be active health citizens in their communities.
