Alex and Joel's story

Alex was doing the school run, when her baby, Joel, turned blue. Thankfully, Alex had seen Nursery Rhymes Inc. - a St John Ambulance video that teaches baby CPR. Despite her panic, Alex knew exactly what to do, and her actions saved baby Joel's life. Alex was rewarded for her bravery at the St John Ambulance Everyday Heroes Awards.

Sarah and Poppy's story

Sarah learned first aid at a St John Ambulance training course, to become a workplace first aider. Just over a week later, she was putting the skills to use - but not at work.

Without first aid, and St John Ambulance teaching first aid, my daughter wouldn't be here today.
