Medical emergencies are all too common. First aid could be the difference between life and death, yet most people don’t have the basic skills or the confidence to use them.

With support from trusts and statutory funders, we can:
- Strengthen local communities by equipping people with first aid skills at our free volunteer-led community education sessions
- Empower 25,000 young people each year with life-saving street first aid skills
- Keep communities safe by having trained volunteers at events to help people like Richard, who received life-saving medical care when he collapsed at the London Marathon.
St John Ambulance provides development opportunities for young people, community education and first aid support across England. We work closely with our partners to ensure our interests are aligned and we can achieve the most impact possible for the communities we serve.
