Intuitive lights provide real-time feedback for ventilation training and provide real-time feedback for chest compressions depth, rate, recoil and finger or thumb position.
Allows correct compression to 1/3 of the depth (Anterior, Posterior distance) of manikin (4 cm). When all component parts of chest compressions are performed correctly, a CPR quality indication light illuminates on the forehead of the Brayden Baby manikin.
When ventilation is being performed correctly, including correct volume and rate, lung shaped lights on the manikin’s chest light up.
Both sets of lights help guide the student to perform good quality infant CPR.
Realistic design
Non-toxic materials are soft and smooth to represent infant skin.
Realistic, large Occiput (back of the head) so the baby lies with its head in the correct and realistic position (in flexion). The head needs to be placed in the neutral position to open the airway.
Open and connected mouth and nose for added realism when ventilating.
Realistic occlusion of the airway for an infant when the head is hyper-extended.
