Who should attend?
This course is for members of the public who want to learn how to deal with accidents, injuries and medical conditions involving an adult. It’s a very practical course that encourages you to have a go at treating people who are experiencing life-threatening situations.
We welcome young people from the age of 12 onto all our community first aid courses. If under the age of 16, you must attend with a responsible adult member of your family or guardian (two young people per adult).
You will need a basic command of English to attend this course. We are often able to provide support to people who do not have English as a first language, but our ability to do so is limited by the time available and the number of people who require assistance. We may be able to make special arrangements if requested in advance. Please contact us if you need any guidance.
