Important parking information
Please do not park in the car park outside of the training venue, this area is in use 24/7 by our ambulance crews to support the NHS response to COVID-19.
If you are driving to our venue, please park in the private car park which is adjacent to the venue. This is a private car park owned by a local business (Barcode Warehouse) who have kindly offered SJA course delegates free parking during the COVID-19 outbreak.
From Lincoln on the A46
At the roundabout at the junction of A17/A1 take the 3rd exit, signed A46 Leicester. At the next roundabout, take the first exit signed Newark B6166 . Turn left into Brunel Drive and then take the first turning on the right into Telford Drive. Proceed to the bottom of Telford Drive, keeping to the left hand side as the road forks. St John Ambulance is the blue clad building at the end of this road.
From Nottingham on the A46
Follow the A46 through Fardon, at the first roundabout take the first exit signed Lincoln A46. At the 2nd Roundabout, take the 3rd exit for the A46. At the 3rd Roundabout, take the third roundabout signed Newark B6166. Turn left into Brunel Drive and then take the first turning on the right into Telford Drive. Proceed to the bottom of Telford Drive, keeping to the left hand side as the road forks. St John Ambulance is the blue clad building at the end of this road.
Approaching from Doncaster & the North from the A1
Leave the A1 at the junction with the A46. Follow the exit slip road to the roundabout and take the 1st exit signed A46 to Leicester. At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit signed Newark B6166. Turn left into Brunel Drive and then take the first turning on the right into Telford Drive. Proceed to the bottom of Telford Drive, keeping to the left hand side as the road forks. St John Ambulance is the blue clad building at the end of this road.
By Bus
The training centre is a 3 minute walk from Newark Bus Station. Route 67 passes close by the training centre.
Parking
Parking is available nearby, a permit is required which can be obtained from the trainer on the day.
